My friend. Music composer and the most down to earth person you could find. Another christite buddy. Remember the days, where we used to smoke and drink tea
My christite friend . . You get younger when you meet old pals . . . :) march on christite march on . . She found time in spite of her busy schedule. Happy!
To my understanding, as of now, metro rail has three corridors. Red, yellow and blue. And there are stations where you need to get down to switch to another corridor. This metro has three levels. Underground, ground level and over the ground. Throughout the journey, you will hear computer talkin about which station it is, stand clear off the door, do not push passengers while boarding or deboarding the train, give seat to ladies, disabled and senior citizens, do not sit on the floor of metro and do not spit in metro.
Today power cut at work place made me come here. Strolled for two hours and now i am heading to metro station. What i bought from here will be highlighted in my next post.
However dusty delhi is, its advocacy for environment is very very strong. The banner above, is a view from train to the platform. Todays newspaper stories are completely talking about green issues. Nice to see. Aranyam film festival work has started, my act now colleagues, vishal and pradeep has given some good news with regard to it. . . Happy environment day to me!
Metro is such a blessing to the city. In the scorchin heat, this is the only mode of transport that is comfortable. In a city like bangalore you will see volvo ac buses everywhere and here in delhi, which has such extremes of weather you don have one. Its quite ironic.
There are these old almost battered taxis that run on cng fuel. After taking the ticket from inside of airport, you have to wait outside the pre paid taxi counter platform. Frankly speakin, It doesn't suit the new airport.
I like to travel, but unexpected official travel is just a turn off. I was told to come to delhi 20 hours before. My return tickets are not booked. My boss says, you hang and come in general compartment and i found that comment nasty. :) badly want to come back to ashram. Reasons being many. . . Delhi is super hot. :( hopefully i will get a return train ticket!
A pleasant town in coorg, falls on the way to sai sanctuary near biru nani. You have to go to sai sanctuary via birunani but buses are very rare. If you are commuting by bus, then its better to take an auto from the place called shettygiri. They will charge you 200 bucks.
